Description:
March 2nd 2022 there was a sewer break in the 300 building. Water and sewage backed up and one resident had damage inside the unit. Residents were not able to use their facilities for a few days. A port potty was provided for the duration it took to complete the repairs. A plumber unblocked and located the break. Stutzman Gerbaz repaired the broken sewer line March 9th.

The HOA does have coverage from CAU Insurance to reimburse for some proportion of the mitigation. I have not seen an invoice from Gerbaz but we did pay All Valley Resource Plumbing and Colorado Site Services (porta-potty) for their portion of the work.
If you have questions, Mark was the primary HOA point-man on the work done. Also be aware that Scotty submitted a claim to CAU for damage caused by the sewer backup.

I do not think we need to spend a lot on this if some of us want to help out with simple tools. But I’d like to know others thoughts…
April 19, 2022 at 14:53 #550DannoKeymasterBen, Marc and Polo and I agreed to wait till May 1st and let it dry out a little longer. Mark will start in all earnest May 1. We will have the same contractor (Stutzman Gerbaz) who did the earthmoving and the sewer repair, restore the bus path to its original state, grade and alignment. If the contractor can improve aesthetically or hydrology wise for the same price as original restoration it would be welcome. We will have to get a quick estimate, scope of work agreement and as a board approve. Aim to get it done in the first two weeks of May…
