Welcome!
When I first suggested a website for the Twin Ridge HOA, Cliff asked me why. Why won’t email suffice?
It left me speechless for a second because it was a great question.
So I thought about it for a while and without further ado:
1 Archive
To have a centralized place of storing records, minutes and the history of our HOA.
2 Improve information flow
Email threads are not very suitable for collaboration or feedback loops on issues like amending By-laws. Neighbors can now chime in by commenting and read the thread as it evolves. It will be a forum for a collaborative space.
3. Comprehensive
All information is bundled in one place, updates can be made on the fly without having to generate yet another e-mail.
4. Exemplary
This is almost personal. We are grateful to be living at Twin Ridge and raising our daughter here. Having lived in other employee housing I know the maintenance (and other) issues which face the HOA. Dealt the hand of cards by APCHA. Decisions with a magnitude usually done with engineering firms. In order to face these issues we really have to bundle together as a community and set the example.
